“Fat Macarons” REVIEW! Matcha Chocolate Melty and Ruby Chocolate with Lychee Kit Kat

We recently visited Sweethandkraft in Metairie because we are pretty obsessed with their macarons and ice cream and it’s been quite a while since we’ve gone there.

Since the last time we were there, they added a new item to the menu! “Fat Macarons” are Korean inspired macarons. They came up with 4 flavors:

• Red Velvet Cream Cheese
• Matcha Chocolate Melty
• Ruby Chocolate w/ Lychee Kit Kat
• Banana Strawberry Swirl

We were super excited like kids in a candy store so we don’t exactly remember why they said these were special, other than they had extra filling. We bought 1 of each flavor, but chose to review the Matcha Chocolate Melty and Ruby Chocolate w/ Lychee KitKat first.
